In summer, the frequency of use of vehicle air conditioners has increased significantly. Many of the owners complain that the air conditioners are not cool before. In fact, there are many incentives for air conditioners to be cold. One of the reasons is very convenient to handle, but it is often overlooked. Cleaning of the radiator inside the grid. Today we will show you how to properly clean the radiator and record its cleaning process.

1. Remove the grille

Cleaning the radiator is not a difficult task and it is very convenient to operate. We can ask the staff to assist in cleaning and even cleaning by ourselves when repairing the car and washing the car. Of course, the first step is to remove the front grille.

Since the heat sink is placed inside the front grille, it is the first step to remove the front grille. Due to the difference in design of each model, individual models can only expose a small number of radiators even after the grille is removed, so cleaning will be relatively time consuming.

2. Air pump cleaning

If there are large debris such as branches and leaves on the surface of the radiator, you can clean it first by hand. If not, you can clean it directly with the air pump. (There are many small air pumps on the market, or you can use the air pump in the car wash shop. ). Air pump cleaning has certain requirements. If possible, clean the air from the cabin with air pump. This method can make the dust and debris cleaned out directly outside the vehicle without flying into the cabin. Of course, the internal structure of each car will be different. Some cars can't push the air pump in from inside, and it can only be cleaned from the outside.

Many times, even if it is not cleaned for a long time, the radiator is not very dirty from the outside. Therefore, many friends will be deceived by its appearance. In fact, a lot of dirt has already accumulated inside the radiator, and it will spread out when blown with a gas pump. Blow repeatedly several times until no dust is released and the basic cleaning is complete.

3. Washing (not recommended)

In fact, in the previous step, the entire cleaning process was basically completed. Although many of the cleaning of the radiator mentioned the water gun cleaning, it is generally not recommended to use a water gun for cleaning. The reason is that the cleaning effect can be achieved by the air pump. Secondly, because the pressure of the water gun itself is relatively large, it is easy to slam the heat sink with a little care, which will affect the heat dissipation effect.

Of course, some car owners who are pursuing perfection will feel that washing without water is not thorough. If this is the case, then you must go to the regular car wash room for cleaning, and the water gun should be straight into the radiator when cleaning, the angle should not be tilted to avoid the angle of the heat sink.

  Precautions

Regularly clean the radiator: Develop the habit of regularly cleaning and checking the radiator, such as checking or cleaning during the half year or season, keeping the radiator clean.

Pay attention to the cleaning sequence: some car wash room diagrams save trouble, open the grille or even flush the heat sink with a water gun without removing the grille. This method must be eliminated. Not only is it easy to damage the fin angle, but it is also easy to make the dust accumulated in the water and mud.

Pay attention to your own cleaning: If you are cleaning yourself, follow the method and sequence mentioned above, and be sure to use a gas pump to blow out the dirt. Do not use hard objects to hook the dirt, otherwise it will easily damage the angle of the heat sink.
